Recipe: Share A Healthy Weight Loss Smoothie with Your Baby or Toddler
Makes about 12 ounces; easily doubled
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup frozen Fruit
- 1-2 handfuls of leafy Greens
- 1 serving of Fat (i.e. 1 teaspoon oil, 1/4 avocado, 1 tablespoon nut butter)
- Extra Add-Ins, such as Dates, fresh Ginger, or Cinnamon
Optional: half and half Water and Yogurt for calcium and probiotic benefits.
Blend until smooth. Divide into 2-3 servings as required, chilling or freezing the extra servings, if necessary.
