Recipe 2: Kale Cucumber Pear Smoothie

Ingredients: (Serves: 1)kale-cucumber-pear-smoothie

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup cucumber
  • 1 cup pear
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 serving unsweetened vanilla whey protein powder (Pasternak prefers Source Organic Whey)
  • 5 raw cashews


  1. Place all ingredients in the blender in order listed above.
  2. Secure lid and blend for about 1 minute. If a thinner consistency is desired, add a little water
  3. Blend for about 20 more seconds.
